Frequently Asked Questions
Your questions about content strategy, creation and implementation - answered
Creating a successful content strategy is a complex process which involves a number of different tasks:
- Audit of your content and distribution channels – website, blog, social media profiles, onboarding emails and newsletters
- Look into your brand values and business objectives
- Market and competitors research
- Client persona creation
- Customer journey maps and user flows
- Content creation and publishing process maps
- Content creation and publishing roles and responsibilities
- Content plan, editorial calendar and posting schedule creation
- Progress updates and feedback sessions at each stage to ensure the effectiveness and ease-of-use of the strategy
I develop strategies which are tailored to your business and include detailed audits, evaluations and research. That can take from two weeks to two months or longer for larger funeral directors.
Please note that I develop one strategy for one client at the time.
That depends on the type of content you require. Often shorter pieces take more time and effort to create than longer ones. Your content is one of your biggest assets and my services are designed to provide the maximum amount of value for you and your clients.

That depends on the volume, types of content and the amount of research that’s involved in its creation. As a guideline:
- A blog post or an article takes one working day – that includes, research and planning, writing, editing and proofreading
- Longer pieces of content such as an eBook usually take up to a month including topic research, chapters and contents planning, writing, editing, proofreading and formatting
Please note that I rarely agree to write single articles and blog posts.
You need to let me know that you are interested in my services using the contact form at the bottom of this page. I will reply to your request and ask for a convenient time to schedule a phone call for a quick discussion. After that, I will prepare a proposal with costs and delivery dates. You can suggest amendments as you see fit.
Once we are both happy with the proposal, I shall start work on the project after the successful transfer of the agreed deposit.
The time frames of individual projects depend on the size of the business, existing content and distribution channels involved. As a rough guide you can expect:
- Two to three weeks for a small family-run funeral director
- Four to eight weeks for a medium size business with a few branches
10 to 15 weeks for a national chain of funeral directors
Every project is different and sometimes a small family business with a large volume of content, demands more time and effort than a larger business with fewer pieces of existing content.
